NanoLumens win prestigious US ‘Breakthrough Technology’ Award

Revolutionary flexible LED manufacturer NanoLume ns has been was awarded the accolade of ‘Breakthrough Technology of the Year’ at the TechAmerica Foundation American Technology Awards, in recognition of their innovative display solution.
Launched to the European market earlier this year at ISE, NanoLumens has gone from strength to strength with the support of UK distribution partner PSCo. The 112” display weighs just 41kg, and can be curved around walls or flexed around pillars up to a bend radius of 48”, or hung simply from any fixing point.
These unique features and the groundbreaking technology within the display are just some of the reasons that the American Technology Awards have recognised NanoLumens’ contribution to the industry. Nominations for The American Technology Awards (The Termans) were vetted by industry experts and technology companies, and the ceremony took place in Washington earlier this week.
Nominee finalists for the Breakthrough Technology of the year award included the consumer electronics product, Microsoft Kinect, and cleantech plastic to fuel process company, Agilyx.
