Paul O'Reilly joins PSCo as Managing Director

PSCo is delighted to announce the appointment of Paul O’Reilly as Managing Director of its technical distribution division, which specialises in videowall and large format display technologies.
 A highly respected industry figure, Paul joins PSCo to head up the business as it continues to expand in the UK and Ireland display markets, with an exciting product portfolio including exclusive partnerships with Prysm, Orion and NanoLumens alongside leading brands Panasonic, NEC and Samsung.
Stuart Holmes will remain in a strategic role within the technical distribution business. His role as Managing Director of the rental division will remain unchanged.
Paul comes to PSCo with extensive experience within the Display sector and in leading distribution businesses, to develop sales channels, product strategy and business development. Most recently Paul’s role as Commercial Director of Medium saw him increase the turnover of the business by 18% in last year’s difficult market conditions. With a focus on emerging technologies, in previous roles Paul was also part of the driving force for growth as Distribution Director at Steljes and UK and Ireland Territory Manager with InFocus. He was an integral part of the introduction of LCD, plasma and interactive whiteboards to the UK market
Paul will join PSCo from 1st June 2011.

Paul’s experience and knowledge will be invaluable to the future development of PSCo. He has a deep understanding of the market and the business of distribution, coupled with great people skills, which means he will be the perfect fit for our clients and the long sales cycle which emerging technologies require.”
Paul explains;
“I have been fortunate in my career to have been part of a numbers of key emerging technologies, and I believe that PSCo is perfectly placed to maximise on the market dynamics and opportunities around videowalls and large format displays. My aim will be to help PSCo set the standard of a growing technical distributor without compromising on service or innovation. I am excited to work with the existing team and client base with long-term relationships at its heart, and my initial focus will be to strengthen the sales and technical teams in line with PSCo’s business plan for the coming 12 months.”
The PSCo portfolio includes the 152”, 103” and 85” Panasonic Plasmas, Infinite Plasma range from Orion, NEC and Samsung LFD ranges, NanoLumens Flexible LED screens, Prysm Laser Phosphor Display Technology (LPD) and Sharp videowall and large format display ranges.
