Event Production Awards leads the way with event technology
Trade AV rental specialist, PSCo Rental, provided a series of cutting edge visual solutions to the Event Production Awards; which brought the stage and casino areas to life on the 1st February at the London Hilton Park Lane. Working for Capitol House Productions, this included the world’s first flexible LED screen, a 3D large format display and a striking videowall.
More than 600 of the industry’s finest professionals turned out to celebrate at this inaugural ceremony which was designed to recognise the excellence and innovation of live events from organisers and suppliers alike.
To create a stunning stage backdrop, PSCo provided NanoFlex; a flexible LED screen from manufacturer NanoLumens, of which the company is the exclusive UK distributor. The screens feature a 6mm pixel pitch and weigh just 41kg, making them in credibly easy to hang in places that have previous been off limits due to the restrictions of traditional LFD. The screens can also bend to a 48” radius, in concave or convex formations, for the ultimate creative display wrapping around pillars and columns.
The awards evening featured a casino area where visitors were given chips and could put their betting skills to the test. A 3x3 NEC LCD videowall welcomed visitors to the casino and showcased sponsor logos. A 3D 103” Panasonic plasma was also set up for the ultimate gaming experience.
Amanda Murray, Director of Events at Capitol House Productions said:
“Visual displays are becoming a major focus at live events as brands are seeing this as an increasingly important part of their marketing mix and need desirable platforms to display logos and messages. It was great to have such a range of innovations from revolutionary manufacturers at the event.”
Stuart Holmes, Managing Director of PSCo Rental explained:
“We are pleased to have had this opportunity to showcase, in front of this prestigious industry audience, a sample of the creative products on our fleet, hopefully inspiring them of how they can also utilise these solutions.
“We are dedicated to bringing new and emerging technologies to the UK and are committed to ensuring they are available as part of professional rental packages; which ensures accessing these innovations is as easy as possible with the support of our technical teams.”
